Hatch powerful voice for Utah
I noted with passing interest a few weeks ago the results of a poll showing Utahns about equally divided on the question of whether or not Sen. Orrin Hatch should be returned to the Senate in next year's election. As one who has had the chance to observe closely what happens in Washington, I can tell you Sen. Hatch is a powerful voice for Utah and its citizens. His power derives not only from his own character but his many years of untiring service and hard work on issues. Like it or not, the seniority system rewards us as a small state by giving Sen. Hatch a powerful platform. That's reality.
I urge Utahns among the half who haven't figured it out yet to enthusiastically endorse and support his re-election. I will.
