Showers, Storms Will Continue Into Evening

DENVER -- Showers with embedded thunderstorms will continue along the I-25 Urban Corridor and in the foothills into the evening hours.

A few storms will contain small hail up to a 1/2" in diameter. One storm went severe earlier this afternoon with 1 inch diameter hail reported just north of Mississippi Avenue and Chambers Road in Aurora.

This will not be a widespread severe weather outbreak, and no watches are in effect. But you could experience a brief storm that produces a burst of rain, lightning, hail, and gusty winds.
